TODAY - Friday August 15,
2008 - * UPDATE * The Boylan Bridge Brewpub had
planned to open on AUGUST 25, 2008; extended delays in construction
beyond our control and permitting have pushed the opening date
back about 30 days, a little closer to the third week in September.
We look forward to serving the community and appreciate the positive
comments from everyone.

The Bridge is hoping to find three people to assume key responsibilities
on August 8. They are the Manager, the Cook, and the Brewer. Details
for these positions and the overall plan for the brewpub can be
found in the business plan.
If
you are interested, send an email with an attached resume to jobs@boylanbridge.com

The
identity of the Boylan Bridge Brewpub relies on the significance
of its location. Passers-by sense a certain graceful importance
from the site on the brow of the hill overlooking the rail yard
in the foreground and the downtown skyline in the background.
The location answers the community’s call for a significant
place where people can gather.
By establishing the Boylan Bridge, we have the opportunity to
fulfill the promise of this site. We expect it to become an essential
fixture in the social infrastructure of Raleigh.
Juxtaposed between residential neighborhoods to the west and downtown
to the east, the Boylan Bridge’s design takes advantage
of the spectacular skyline view. We are building a place where
people can think and talk without a veil of music and TV to blunt
the senses, where close proximity to the street draws people in,
and where fresh food and our own brewed beer sustain the spirit.
