Da Beers!

The beers at the Boylan Bridge Brewpub are products of original recipes developed by our staff and brewed on premises, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Although our recipes are simple, the care associated with their implementation is more than complicated. We want the result to become a local pleasure.

Brewmaster Mark Fesche occasionally tends the bar on Locals Night, every Tuesday, to serve up his creations, provide $1.00 off all Pints. Mark will answer relevant questions about the beers. Irrelevant questions must be submitted in writing, on a napkin, to Mark, thirty days prior to Locals Night. So that's EVERY Tuesday, $1.00 off all pints.

Year Round Beers

We Support Public Transportation by Rail Pale Ale
A traditional American ale with a deep golden
amber color, our pale ale is made with yeast, malt,
and a generous amount of hops offering a balanced
floral bouquet.

Gantlet Golden
The gateway to craft beer production with a bright
hop flavor and a pale golden color. The golden has
an appearance similar to that of a Pilsner. Malt
character is subtle and issues a hint of citrus.

Bruno Bitter (Bit-Her)
Bruno Bitter belongs in the pale ale style grouping,
but has a greater variety of strength, flavor, and
appearance of mainstream pale ales. This bitter
has a deep copper red color and was named for
our own, richly flavored watchdog.

Pullman Porter
Porter is a dark colored beer, complex with a hint
of smokiness. Lingering flavors include coffee and
chocolate, rich but not heavy. The Pullman as it
relates to the Boylan Bridge is most often the
railroad sleeper car.

Southbound Stout
The Southbound Stout is another full flavored classic
beer, with a dry roasted malt taste and almost
black in color. Stouts were made popular in Great
Britain and were largely responsible for the popularity
of regional breweries.

Pitchers - Available in every fun beer color.
Growlers - Bottle charge for the first growler, refills are discounted.

Reserve and Specialty Beers

Cask Conditioned Bitter
Cask Conditioned Summer

Generally unpasteurized and unfiltered, our cask conditioned brews are naturally carbonated in their casks. Yeast transform the sugars into alcohol with a side of fizzy carbon dioxide trapped in the cask, and are the only source of bubbles.

Cask-conditioned ales were standard in British pubs 100 years ago.
